DPRK Hackers Drain $292M From KelpDAO Bridge in LayerZero Attack

A North Korea-linked attack on LayerZero's internal servers drained 116,500 rsETH — roughly $292 million — from the KelpDAO bridge on 18 April 2026. LayerZero subsequently admitted it allowed a single verifier to secure the high-value transfer, a configuration it called a mistake.
